Join Lonza AG in Greenwood, SC as a Program Manager.

Key responsibilities:
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver customer projects timely, in-scope, and within encouraged business parameters.
  • Handle the full lifecycle of customer programs, including project planning, detailed timeline development, execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Build and maintain program timelines, risk registers, and action plans in collaboration with key collaborators from Supply Chain, Operations, QA, QC, Sales, and R&D.
  • Prepare and present regular program updates, performance reports, and business review materials to customers and leadership.
  • Provide realistic timelines, clarify next steps, and handle expectations based on project complexity and internal readiness.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Proposals, and Formulation teams to ensure smooth project handover from quoting to execution.
  • Maintain and update project trackers and PM tools for all active customer programs.
  • Track achievement adherence, identify root causes of delays, and propose corrective actions.
  • Provide regular updates on program health, critical risks, and delivery outlook for leadership, sales partners, and the customer.
  • Ensure data setup for new materials, bill of materials, pricing, and customer account numbers is completed accurately.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and lead risk mitigation efforts.

Key requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Nutrition, or Life Sciences (required).
  • Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Engineering, or related fields (preferred).
  • PMP or relevant PM certification from PMI or equivalent (preferred).
  • 5-10 years of experience in Customer Service, Project Management, preferably within nutraceuticals CMO or food supplements.
  • Sophisticated understanding of formulation-to-launch processes, project planning, SAP ERP, and PM tools such as Wrike, Asana, Planview, or MS Projects.
  • Proficient in English for business purposes.
