Doctor of Medicine | Psychiatry - General/Other Location: Newburgh, IN Employer: HPA Healthcare Pay: $225 per hour Contract Duration: 2 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Position Overview One of our Partners in Indiana is seeking a Psychiatrist for a 14-on / 14-off inpatient behavioral health assignment offering predictable scheduling, strong support, and competitive compensation. This opportunity features a dedicated adult behavioral health setting, manageable patient volumes, inpatient NP support, and a rapid credentialing process. Providers seeking recurring block schedules and long-term locum stability will find an excellent practice environment. Compensation Highlights: $225/hour provider compensation $350/night beeper call $275/hour callback 14 days on / 14 days off schedule Assignment Highlights 14 days on / 14 days off schedule Adult inpatient behavioral health facility Weekend rounding required during rotation Weekend beeper call coverage 48-bed psychiatric facility Average daily census of 15–20 patients Support from inpatient NPs Approximately 2-week credentialing timeline Local or drive-in candidates strongly preferred HPA Healthcare is Joint Commission-certified HPA Healthcare is an active member of NALTO Job Responsibilities Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits Manage inpatient psychiatric treatment plans Admit and discharge psychiatric patients Round on assigned patients Participate in treatment team meetings Complete psychiatric documentation Manage weekend coverage responsibilities Participate in call coverage during assigned rotation Coordinate care with nursing and behavioral health staff614ebcce-2988-4a21-9a10-1fc0c5beffbb
