Parks Operator II
- Mows grass, cuts and sprays weeds on county property.
- Repairs and replaces park signs and park equipment.
- Performs minor repairs to park vehicles.
- Operates heavy equipment as needed.
- Drives bus to and from special events to transport participants.
- Repairs and replaces park fencing and performs concrete work.
- Held financially responsible for equipment used and uniforms issued.
- Participates in activities and duties related to emergency management during a local state of disaster as directed by appropriate county managers.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma/GED
- 2 years job related experience.
- Ability to understand and carry out instructions; general working knowledge of and ability to operate required equipment. Good verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively with others. Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.
SALARY RANGE: $16.02 Min-$24.03-Max/ per hour
CLOSING DATE: Upon filling position
