<p><b>Exceed your potential with Volt!</b></p> <p><b>Volt is immediately hiring for a 1st Shift Electronic PCB Inspector in Lake Forest, CA.</b></p> <p>As a<b> PCB Inspector, </b>you will:</p> <ul> <li>Perform visual and dimensional inspections on electronic assemblies, including PCB assemblies, metal parts, plastic components, and box-build enclosures.</li> <li>Inspect solder joints, component placement, finishes, and overall workmanship using magnification and measurement tools.</li> <li>Measure critical dimensions and verify part alignment using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and other precision instruments.</li> <li>Document inspection results by completing inspection reports and nonconformance reports, including reject and rework dispositions.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with customer requirements, IPC standards, J-STD standards, ISO 9001, and internal quality procedures.</li> <li>Support quality inspections across both PCB-related and mechanical components within the EM department.</li> </ul> <p><b>This is a full-time, contract-to-hire opportunity.</b></p> <p><b>The ideal candidate will have:</b></p> <ul> <li>3–5 years of Quality Control experience in PCB Assembly manufacturing.</li> <li>Experience working in electronics, aerospace, or semiconductor manufacturing environments.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620, and J-STD-001 standards.</li> <li>Hands-on experience using electronic and mechanical inspection tools such as magnifiers, microscopes, calipers, and multimeters.</li> <li>Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems and safety practices.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Active or prior J-STD certification.</li> <li>Background in electronics manufacturing environments similar to EMS or PCB assembly operations.</li> </ul> <p><b>Shift: 1st shift, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM</b></p> <p><b>Pay Rate: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour</b></p> <p><i>Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.</i></p> <p>Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
