What You’ll Do
- Deliver psychiatric nursing services aligned with the needs and model fidelity of each program.
- Apply expertise in psychiatric assessment and intervention across diverse clinical settings.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, advanced practice providers, and care teams to coordinate psychiatric and medical treatment.
- Oversee medication monitoring and administration and manage pharmaceutical and medical supplies.
- Support individuals in their recovery journey by promoting wellness, independence, and personal growth.
- Lead operational responsibilities including nurse scheduling, UKG and Compass management, and annual performance evaluations for assigned nursing staff.
What You Bring
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
- Active State of Michigan RN Licensure.
- Minimum of four years of psychiatric nursing experience preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Informed Care, and Stages of Change.
- Ability to work independently with flexible hours, including occasional nights, weekends, or holidays.
