Sit-Down Forklift Operator

Location: Vinta Park, MO
Pay:

• Days: $17.00/hour (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM)
• Nights: $19.00/hour (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM)

Schedule:

• 4 Days On / 4 Days Off Rotation
• Consistent full-time hours with built-in days off

Position Summary

A leading chemical distribution company is seeking reliable and safety-focused Sit-Down Forklift Operators to join our warehouse team. This position is responsible for safely moving, storing, loading, and unloading products while maintaining accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently
• Load and unload shipments from trucks and trailers
• Move and stage materials throughout the warehouse
• Verify product quantities and documentation
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety policies and procedures
• Assist with inventory control and cycle counts as needed
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous sit-down forklift experience preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Dependable attendance and positive work ethic
• Experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment preferred
