In this Role:
As Cardiology Advance Practice Provider, you will provide comprehensive, longitudinal patient-centered care in an inpatient and outpatient setting while collaborating with an experienced multidisciplinary team.
Full-time position with a mix of hospital and clinic-based care
Perform patient evaluations, physical examinations, and develop individualized treatment plans.
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions, including coronary artery disease, heart failure, hypertension, valvular disease, and cardiac arrhythmias.
Order and interpret laboratory tests, ECGs, cardiac imaging, stress tests, and other diagnostic studies.
Initiate, adjust, and monitor cardiovascular medications and evidence-based therapies.
Conduct daily hospital rounds, manage cardiology consultations, and coordinate care with physicians and the healthcare team.
Monitor patient progress, respond to acute changes in condition, and assist with discharge planning and follow-up.
Manage an independent clinic schedule under physician collaboration.
Evaluate new and established patients, provide pre- and post-procedure follow-up, monitor chronic cardiovascular conditions, review diagnostic results, and coordinate ongoing care to optimize patient outcomes.
Evaluate patients for pre- and post-procedure care, antiarrhythmic drug monitoring, urgent arrhythmia symptoms, CIED follow-up, implantable cardiac monitor evaluations, and routine electrophysiology care.
Manage a daily outpatient clinic of approximately 15-18 patients under physician collaboration.
