Full job description

Swedish is seeking a Per Diem Obstetrics Hospitalist to join the team in Issaquah, Washington.

The OBGYN Hospitalist's primary responsibilities will include evaluation and treatment of patients in a 6-bed OBED, surgical assist, primary OB/GYN coverage for unassigned patients, providing backup for midwifery group, accepting out of hospital transfers, ED coverage, emergency gyn surgeries, care of unassigned gynecology patients requiring admission and/or surgery. Must be comfortable seeing both obstetrics and gynecology patients and demonstrate a strong level of experience. Must be comfortable performing urgent and emergent OB and gynecology surgeries.

  • Per Diem
  • Hospitalist team consists of 4.4 FTEs, including a Medical Director, and 4 Per Diem physicians
  • Teaching opportunities with residents and medical students
  • Private, on-site call room dedicated to the Hospitalist
  • Compensation is between $209 and $215 per hour
  • Compensation is depending on shift and coverage

The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position. In addition, providers may have CME benefits available to them.

Swedish Medical Center's Issaquah Highlands campus is a full-service community hospital 17 miles east of downtown Seattle.
