Full job description
French & Parrello Associates (FPA) is seeking a Structural Project Engineer for our Telecom Department in Wall, NJ.
Responsibilities:
- Perform structural analysis and design for telecommunication towers, monopoles, rooftops, and related structures.
- Utilize engineering software such as O-Calc, RISA Tower, AutoCAD, and other industry tools to complete structural evaluations and prepare detailed reports.
- Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and client standards to ensure compliance with applicable codes and design requirements.
- Develop construction drawings, calculations, and documentation to support new installations, upgrades, and modifications.
- Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and contractors to ensure project deliverables are accurate and completed on schedule.
- Conduct field visits and inspections as required to gather site-specific data and verify structural conditions.
- Assist in preparing proposals, project budgets, and schedules as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required; Master’s degree a plus.
- 3–5 years of relevant structural engineering experience in the telecommunications industry.
- Proficiency with O-Calc, tnxTower, RISA, and other structural analysis software.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revitpreferred.
- Familiarity with applicable standards and codes such as TIA-222, AISC, and ACI.
- EIT certification required; PE license or ability to obtain within 12 months preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation
The projected compensation range for this position is $89,000 to $115,000. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as experience, education and skill set.
