Job Details

This local CDL A Driver position is based in Conyers, Georgia and pays $25per hour. You will haul paper products on no-touch routes through Georgia and nearby states using a day cab and dry van trailer. This is a TransForce driving opportunity with a local assignment and a consistent 40-hour workweek.

This role requires a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card and experience operating day cab tractors and dry van trailers.

Pay & Schedule

• $25per hour
• Weekday schedule based in Conyers, GA
• Primary shift is 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Schedule may vary based on operational needs
• Occasional Saturday work may be required
• Three-week assignment with temp-to-perm employment type

What You'll Be Doing

• Transport paper products throughout Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, and North Carolina.
• Operate day cab tractors with dry van trailers and automatic transmissions.
• Handle no-touch freight and complete assigned routes safely and on schedule.
• Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain transportation documentation.
• Use slip-seat equipment and communicate with dispatch and customers as needed.

What You Need

• Valid CDL A
• 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable tractor-trailerdriving experience.
• Non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Ability to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds
