Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2070 per week.

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• 3 months of travel experience is required within the last 2 years.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Trauma Level 2 experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: TrioWFS Program - UnityPoint Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: General, gyn, breast, abdominal, flaps, and ENT patient care experience required. Heparin experience required. Recent/current Level II trauma experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Recent/current Level I trauma experience preferred.

Special Requests: Unless the unit is closed, required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day).

Unit Details: Ratios: 1:4-6 on days; 1:5-6 on nights.

Shift & Scheduling: Fri, Sat, Sun schedule. No call.

Floating Requirements: Float required across all campuses, including Iowa Methodist MC and Iowa Lutheran, and across Med Surg units when needed/scheduled.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required for submission
