The Production Associate is responsible for manufacturing, testing, and packing products based on the work instructions. The position is also responsible for providing accurate paperwork and record keeping. The Production Associate must have the ability to use measuring and test equipment, follow all company rules and policies and OSHA/EPA regulations. This position reports to the Production Supervisor, is part of the Media department located in Deland, Florida and is an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Complete all job duties of Inkjet-related production, including continuous roll operations, strip slitting and cleaning.
- Become proficient in Quality Inspection, material handling/flow, data gathering and all applicable procedures/shop orders. Prepare and maintain records as required.
- Assist other team members as instructed by the Team Leader or Supervisor. Complete other duties as required by management.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Experience in like work centers and accuracy using both calipers and micrometers.
- Good mechanical skills and troubleshooting ability, and adherence to standard work practices.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
- Ability to stand, sit, stoop, bend, walk, reach, squat, kneel, push, and pull for a minimum of 10 hours per day.
- Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lbs.
- Ability to ascend/descend stairs and work safely in a manufacturing environment.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- A heavy manufacturing environment.
- Working with steel microfibers.
