Key Responsibilities
- Optimize commodity spending to deliver consistent Year-over-Year (YoY) savings through cost reductions, avoidance, and operational improvements.
- Develop and recommend cost-saving initiatives via negotiation, Value Analysis, long-term supply agreements, and supplier Value Engineering.
- Apply price justification and negotiation expertise to ensure competitive and sustainable supplier relationships.
- Manage commercial relationships with suppliers, including quotation analysis, contract development, and on-time delivery performance.
- Support production operations to ensure uninterrupted supply to repair depots and production lines.
- Execute all purchasing activities to achieve both short- and long-term business objectives.
- Select and develop high-performing vendors that deliver quality, cost efficiency, and reliability.
- Facilitate vendor capability and quality improvements through collaboration and feedback.
- Engage in team-based continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to a culture of excellence.
Education & Experience Requirements
- Advanced degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred; or a bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of direct industry experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort with data-driven decision-making.
