As a Prep Technician you will...
- Set up, operate, monitor, clean and maintain equipment related to burn, blend, and sample
processes. - Move and dump drums.
- Operate various chemical batch process equipment in a safe manner.
- Keep accurate Batch/Run sheets to maintain good metal control.
- Perform general maintenance responsibilities:
- Repair mechanical systems
- Troubleshoot mechanical failures.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks.
- Detect and report the need for maintenance repairs.
- Ability to understand a process and ability to solve problems and troubleshoot.
- Operate mobile equipment, including but not limited to: forklift, man lift, scissor lift, tractor and
skid steer.
- Follow all safety regulations.
- Maintain acceptable housekeeping standards in work area.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Ability to understand a process and ability to solve problems and troubleshoot.
- Knowledge of safety regulations associated with a chemical operation.
- Knowledge of proper material handling procedures.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED, required
- 0 to 5 years Industrial/Mechanical maintenance experience
