Full job description
A 36-week opportunity for a School Speech Language Pathologist located near Live Oak, Texas. The role offers competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits while enabling you to make a meaningful impact in student education.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy services to students in the school setting
Supervise and collaborate with SLP Assistants to support student progress and intervention strategies
Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
Communicate with teachers, parents, and staff regarding student needs and progress
Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations
Supervise SLP Assistants across multiple schools, managing caseloads of approximately 80, 65, and 30 students
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or an equivalent
State licensure as an SLP
Minimum of 1 year of experience as an SLP in school settings, with supervision skills for SLP Assistants
Preferred Skills:
NBCSL or ASHA Certification
