Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):

• Touring entire outside property daily and cleaning up debris, including trash, cigarette butts, leaves, tree limbs, etc.

• Sweeping stones and cinders from parking lots, sidewalks, driveways, storm drains and troughs.

• Using and maintaining gasoline powered equipment and all other grounds equipment.

• Maintaining supply of gasoline and oil for golf carts and other gas powered equipment.

• Repairing potholes in driveways and parking lots.

• Sealing cracks in parking lots and sidewalks.

• Maintaining supply of Ice Melt for property during winter months.

• Cleaning gutters and downspouts throughout property as needed.

• Other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years or older

• Must possess a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

• Ability to obtain and maintain Fork Lift and mobile High Reach certifications

• This position is designated as Safety Sensitive and requires successful completion and passing of a pre-employment drug test.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to operate portable equipment such as chain saw, leaf blower, Billy Goat, and snow blower

• Skill and ability to safely drive company vehicles and golf carts

• Must be able to work with minimal supervision

Job Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to:

• Constantly (67% - 100% of the time): Stand, walk, bend, and balance

• Frequently (34% - 66%): Lift up to 50 pounds, reach forward, reach overhead, stoop, kneel, crouch

• Occasionally (1% to 33%): Work on ladders and mobile high reach up to 30 feet.

• Shovel snow for long periods of time

• Must furnish own hand tools

• Work outside in extreme hot or cold conditions

• Exposed to cleaning chemicals

• Normal working hours: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

• Must be flexible in working weekends and holidays

• Must be able to respond to emergencies outside of normal shift hours.

• This is a union position, and the work schedule will be based on union seniority. Candidates must be able to meet schedule requirements, which will most likely require working flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet operational demands.
