Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 18 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 18 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 1 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.

• 12 months gap required between for Part-Time at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.

• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Basic Med/Tele skillset: cardiac rhythm interpretation, experience with non-titrating cardiac drips (Cardizem/Amiodarone), wound care, drain/tube management, PIV starts, central line management.

Special Requests: RTO can approve up to 6 days off, excluding holidays — must add time to the end of the contract if unable to meet contracted hours.

Unit Details: Patient population includes total joint replacements, colon resection, gallbladder, appendectomy, amputations, medical overflow, hip fractures, SBO, and NG tubes.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Possibility of low census call; can be called back up to 3a for Nights and up to 3p for Days. Travelers will work 75% of holidays. Schedule cycle every 6 weeks.

Floating Requirements: Floating within region and scope of practice; required to float per region needs to Region 3 - Cleveland, Kings Mtn, Lincoln, Central Division (CMC Main + Mercy + LCH), as needed, within scope of practice.

6 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required
