Shift: 10:30 AM - 9:00 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Part-Time at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Required Skills/Experience: - Must have neuro and ortho experience as this is a significant number of cases. - Must have robotics experience.

Special Requests: - An interview may not be available prior to offer. - Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. - Submission Limit: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. - Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check. - Candidates may not be full-time, part-time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity. - RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13-week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.

Unit Details: - Cases include orthopedic ORIFs, ventriculostomies, IM nails, and liver/spleen resections. - General cases include bowel, chole, appy, gastrectomy, hernia, laparoscopic general surgeries, organ procurements, spleen, thyroid, trachs, and I&Ds. - Laparoscopic cases include chole, appy, hyster, hernia, colon, and PEG. - GYN cases include C-sections, abdominal/vaginal hysterectomies, laser procedures, salpingo-oophorectomy, and tubals. - GU/cysto cases include circumcision, cystoscopy, hypospadias, lithotripsy, nephrectomy, orchiectomy, penile implant, prostate, and TURP/TURB. - Orthopedic cases include scopes, external fixation, closed reduction, total knees/hips, ORIF of the shoulder, clavicle, humerus, radius/ulna, fingers/hand, acetabulum, pelvis, femur, tibia/fibula, ankle, and foot. - Neurologic cases include ACDF, burr holes, craniotomy, tumor resection, laminectomy, shunts, and EVD. - Plastics cases include trauma plastics involving the mandible/maxilla and orbits, facial fractures, skin grafts, and flaps. - Eye cases include enucleation, vitrectomy, and globe rupture, mostly traumatic eye injuries. - ENT cases include ethmoidectomy, sinus procedures, laryngectomy, tonsil/adenoid procedures, myringotomy, mastoidectomy, tympanoplasty, stapedectomy, nasal polypectomy, and laryngoscopy. - Thoracic cases include hiatal hernia, lobectomy, thoracotomy, and lung wedge resection. - Endoscopy cases include bronchoscopy, EGD, and colonoscopy. - Pediatrics may be seen in emergency situations. - Equipment includes Da Vinci Robot x3, Stealth, O-arm, and holmium lasers.

Shift & Scheduling: - Mid-shift schedule runs Monday-Thursday. - Shift options are 8 and 12 hours. - Call requirement: 1 4-hour call after a shift every week. - Weekend call is from Friday evening to Sunday evening about every 5 weeks. - There are 2 call teams; every 12 hours, the teams alternate between first call and second call.

Floating Requirements: - Floating is limited to the OR; no floating is required outside the OR.

Details:

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.

7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required for submission
