Full job description
We're seeking a proactive and driven Senior Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoys taking ownership of key accounting functions. In this role, you'll play an integral part in the month-end close process, ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, and partner across the organization to support operational and strategic initiatives. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who is naturally curious, solution-oriented, and motivated to improve processes while contributing to the continued growth of the business.
What You Will Do
What You'll Need to Have
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with a strong foundation in accrual accounting and the month-end close process, preferably within a mid-sized manufacturing organization.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience maintaining accurate financial records and supporting timely financial reporting.
- Experience with manufacturing accounting, including inventory, cost of goods sold (COGS), fixed assets, and account reconciliations.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and exercise sound professional judgment in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven experience identifying process improvements and implementing practical solutions that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate discrepancies, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Active pursuit of CPA licensure or a strong commitment to a career in accounting.
- Experience in medical device, biotechnology, or other FDA-regulated manufacturing environments.
- Startup or high-growth company experience.
- Experience supporting external audits, ERP implementations, or accounting process improvement initiatives.

Salary Range: $100,000 - $105,000/yr
