Full job description

Our client is a growing, technology-driven tax advisory firm serving founders, business owners, investors, executives, and high-net-worth individuals. They combine tax expertise with technology to provide proactive tax planning and advisory services.

They are looking for a Sales Account Executive who understands tax and enjoys working with clients. This is a great opportunity for a tax professional or advisor who wants to move into a consultative sales role while staying in the tax industry.

What You'll Do

  • Manage the full sales process from initial conversation through close and client handoff.
  • Speak with business owners, founders, investors, executives, and high-income individuals.
  • Understand client needs and determine whether they need tax preparation, planning, or advisory services.
  • Use your tax knowledge to build credibility and identify potential opportunities.
  • Explain complex tax services in a clear, easy-to-understand way.
  • Manage your sales pipeline and follow up with prospects.
  • Build strong relationships with prospective clients.
  • Work closely with tax advisors to ensure a smooth transition to the service team.
  • Help improve sales processes and messaging as the company grows.
  • Keep accurate records and pipeline information in the CRM.

What We're Looking For

  • 2–5 years of client-facing, business development, or sales experience.
  • Strong understanding of taxation and the financial concerns of business owners and high-income individuals.
  • Experience in tax, accounting, financial services, wealth management, fintech, or professional services is a plus.
  • CPA or EA preferred, but not required.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable discussing tax concepts with financially sophisticated clients.
  • Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working remotely.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to help build something as the company grows.

Why This Role?

You don't have to be a career salesperson. Your tax knowledge and ability to build trust are what matter most.

If you've spent your career working with clients and understand the tax issues that matter to founders, business owners, investors, and high-income individuals, this is an opportunity to use that experience in a new way.
