Full job description
What You’ll Be Doing
As an Experienced Veterinary Assistant you will:
- Confidently place IV catheters
- Draw blood and assist with diagnostics
- Provide hands-on care and monitoring for hospitalized and critical patients
- Assist veterinarians during treatments and procedures
- Support patient comfort, safety, and recovery in a fast-paced setting
- Help maintain an efficient, organized treatment area
- Answer phones and deliver exceptional customer service
- Detail oriented
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum of 5 years as a Veterinary Assistant
- Confidence in IV catheter placement and jugular blood draws
- Strong patient handling and restraint skills
- Ability to stay calm, focused, and compassionate in high-stress situations
- Ability to participate in any area of the clinic as needed
