Position Overview
Heal And Align Physical Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic outpatient clinic located in the picturesque Key West, Florida. Work Environment
As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work onsite in a modern, fully equipped hospital facility where a strong emphasis on collaboration and teamwork shapes every aspect of patient care. Key Responsibilities
- Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and functional activities consistently following treatment protocols established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Conduct mobility training and gait analysis to assist patients in regaining independence in their daily activities while addressing particular challenges they may face.
- Utilize various therapeutic modalities, including ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and heat/cold therapy, to facilitate patient recovery and comfort.
- Thoroughly monitor, document, and evaluate patients’ progress and responses to treatment, ensuring that all records comply with clinic standards and regulatory requirements.
- Engage collaboratively with the PT and other interdisciplinary team members to enhance care delivery and optimize patient outcomes.
- Provide education and resources to patients and their families regarding home exercise programs and effective recovery strategies, empowering them for success beyond the clinic.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with all clinic protocols and Florida state regulations for physical therapy practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus
This role involves working primarily with orthopedic patients requiring rehabilitation from injuries, surgeries, or chronic pain conditions. Qualifications
