Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 3 months of travel experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - MedStar Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - MedStar Health.

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this. If clinician has questions, please email the AM. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: - Adult Critical Care, ED, & Transport experience required. - Must have completed at least 1 travel assignment. - Community hospital experience is required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Previous Charge Experience: Preferred. - Teaching hospital experience is preferred.

Required Credentials: - RRT or CRT accepted. - You must have compact license or MD license.

Unit Details: - Neonate, adult, and geriatric patient population.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend required. Holidays as needed.

7 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
