Own platform health and performance: monitor system uptime, troubleshoot complex site issues, and manage patching, upgrades, and firmware lifecycle across servers, edge devices, and appliances.
Design and implement system integrations between Genetec Security Center and third-party systems (identity management, building automation, alarm monitoring, analytics) via SDK, APIs, and native connectors.
Establish and enforce platform standards, configuration baselines, and documentation for site deployments, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity hardening.
Partner with IT infrastructure, network engineering, and physical security operations teams to align the Genetec platform with enterprise network, virtualization, and security policies.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and site-level technicians / integrators; serve as the escalation point for complex platform issues.
Manage vendor relationships with Genetec and system integrators, including licensing, support contracts, and technology roadmap alignment.
Lead new site onboarding and system migrations, ensuring minimal downtime and adherence to enterprise architecture standards.
