The Excellerate General Laborer performs general labor, material handling, and repetitive assembly tasks to support daily production and facility operations. Responsibilities include preparing materials and skids for shipment, maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment, supporting 5S and continuous improvement initiatives, organizing production areas, and assisting with facility and production needs. May operate a forklift and create, print, and apply assembly identification labels as needed. Follows OSHA, company, and customer-specific safety requirements while maintaining a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and efficient production flow. Performs other related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 0-1 years of relevant experience preferred
Travel: 0-10%
Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 6 am and 6 pm, Monday through Friday. Schedule may vary and can include, but is not limited to nights, weekends, and holidays. Overtime may be required. Ability to work a flexible schedule is necessary.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs material handling and repetitive assembly tasks with attention to detail and quality.
- Perform general labor duties to support daily production and facility operations.
- Prepare skids for shipment, including cleaning and ensuring materials are properly organized and ready for shipping.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production floor through routine sweeping, trash removal, and housekeeping.
- Support 5S and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the production area.
- Assist with floor organization and layout, including measuring and applying floor tape to designated areas.
- Maintain clear and organized workspaces to support efficient production flow.
- Operate a forklift as needed, if applicable.
- Assist production and other departments with general labor and facility support tasks as needed.
- Identifies and supports process improvement opportunities.
- Creates, prints, and applies assembly identification labels.
- Follows OSHA, company, and customer-specific safety requirements.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
