Tech III, Sterile Processing

Tech III, Sterile Processing at Boston Children’s Hospital plays a key role in safe, high‑quality pediatric care. In this advanced sterile processing role, you will decontaminate, inspect, assemble, package, and sterilize a wide range of surgical instruments and specialty sets for complex pediatric procedures. You’ll operate and troubleshoot washers, sterilizers, and tracking systems, perform biological and chemical monitoring, and help maintain regulatory compliance (The Joint Commission, AAMI). Working in a collaborative, mission‑driven team, you’ll support OR and procedural areas while mentoring junior technicians and promoting best practices in patient safety and infection prevention.
