Registered Nurse II – Winter Temporary Program

Acute Care Units | Newark & Wilmington Campuses

The Winter Temporary RN Program is more than a seasonal opportunity. It's a chance to earn supplemental income while building relationships, expanding your acute care experience, and showcasing your skills within one of the region's leading healthcare organizations. Program Dates- **Two Options**

  • 24-Week Option: October 25, 2026 - March 13, 2027

  • 12-Week Option: December 6, 2026 - February 27, 2027

Why Join Us?

  • 12-hour day or night shifts

  • Choose 48 or 72 hours per pay period

  • Work in one assigned unit for the duration of the program

  • No floating to other units

  • Opportunities across 40+ Acute Care units, including:

    • Medical

    • Surgical

    • Progressive Care

    • Step-Down

    • Transitional Care

Requirements

  • 2 years of recent RN experience in an acute care hospital setting required

  • BLS certification required

  • BSN preferred; ADN required

  • Epic-prepared and competent in assigned clinical area

  • Complete two days of orientation

  • Commit to either the 12-week or 24-week program

  • Meet weekend and holiday commitment

This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
