Full job description
Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a skilled nursing facility in Seattle, WA as a traveling Physical Therapist where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. Local licensure and clinical experience in geriatric or skilled nursing populations will support success in this role. Thank you for your time and responsiveness.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Washington state PT license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience providing care in skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehabilitation settings preferred.
- Ability to document accurately in electronic medical records and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous travel therapy experience preferred.
- Experience with restorative programs, fall prevention, and mobility training preferred.

Impacting Patient Care
Provide skilled physical therapy services to a high volume of skilled nursing patients. Assess functional status, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, reduce fall risk, and promote safe discharge planning. Collaborate with nursing and therapy teams to support continuity of care and patient-centered outcomes.
