Maintenance Technician

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance department supporting the plant operations. The ideal candidate will have problem-solving skills, a proactive attitude, and strong teamwork abilities which will align successfully in the organization. This is a Direct Hire opportunity with benefits.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician (Direct Hire)
Location: Evansville, IN
Pay Range: $35.35 plus Sign-On Bonus of $2500
Shift: 3rd Shift (10pm-630am) Monday-Friday

What's the Job?

• Support the Maintenance Supervisor in coordinating and executing maintenance activities to ensure a safe, reliable, and efficient facility.
• Perform repairs on plant equipment, install new machinery, and conduct building maintenance as directed.
• Lead and assist fellow team members in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, welders, and cutting equipment to maintain and modify equipment.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed by all employees, contractors, and visitors, promoting a culture of safety and quality.

What's Needed?

• Two-year degree in Industrial Technology, Advanced Manufacturing, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and control systems experience.
• Proficiency with mechanical repairs, welding, electrical troubleshooting, and PLC systems.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with excellent problem-solving skills.
