Lead Sonographer

Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to provide advanced diagnostic ultrasound services and guide a high-performing imaging team. In this role, you will perform complex vascular, abdominal, OB/GYN, small parts, and other ultrasound exams while ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety. You’ll coordinate daily workflow, mentor staff and students, and collaborate closely with radiologists and providers. Working across Wellstar’s integrated system, you’ll support compassionate, patient-centered care, participate in quality and safety initiatives, and help implement best practices and new technologies in sonography.
