• Friday ‐ Saturday, 7 am ‐ 7 am ‐‐ 48‐hour shift
• 20 patients seen per 24 hours ‐‐ 10 phone consults
• General surgery setting ‐‐ adult and trauma coverage
• Laparoscopic surgery required ‐‐ appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernioplasty
• Chest wall, pleural procedures, and chest tube insertion required
• GI endoscopy required ‐‐ upper, lower, sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy
• Vascular surgery required ‐‐ aneurysm repairs, arterial bypass
• Pediatric surgery skills preferred
