Key Responsibilities

In the role of Physical Therapist Assistant, you will be expected to:

  • Assist licensed Physical Therapists in developing and executing individualized treatment plans aimed at enhancing patients' mobility, strength, and overall functionality.
  • Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and modalities, ensuring technique accuracy to promote physical recovery and alleviate pain.
  • Educate patients about body mechanics, exercise techniques, and home programs to facilitate continued recovery outside the clinical setting.
  • Administer therapeutic modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy in accordance with established treatment protocols.
  • Monitor and document patients' progress meticulously, tracking improvements in range of motion, strength, and functional abilities.
