Full job description
Trusted is seeking an experienced nurse for this exciting travel nursing assignment. Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience.
• Travel experience is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Louisiana license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• No current placement allowed at Program: SimpliFi Program - Willis-Knighton Health System.

Additional Details:
Required Skills / Experience: First time travelers must have 2 years of perm staff RN experience in acute care
Previous Telemetry Experience
Non-titrating Cardiac drips, cardiac rhythm interpretation (will confirm Tele tech findings), drains, wound vacs, traches (charge or RT will manage), central lines, catheters, HD catheters, peritoneal dialysis (dialysis RN will manage)
Required Credentials: Traveler will be required to pass an EKG competency exam as part of compliance, prior to arrival (includes MedSurg RN)
Unit / Facility Details: Parking: Free parking in designated areas
Special Requests: OR RNs only: Application must include either an OR - Circulating or an OR - Scrub skills checklist, in addition to the OR - RN checklist.
May only request (1) weekend of RTO per 13-week contract
Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Rotation: Every Other
Will work 4 days one week and 3 days the next week – this is mandatory
No call requirement
Holiday Expectations: Will work 2/3 holidays
14 days maximum time off
2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months
Proof of identification required
