12-hour shifts -- 7:30 am - 7:30 pm
65 patients per day on average
Hospital-based emergency medicine setting
Annual ED volume: 22,500 visits
Procedures: intubation, arterial lines, LP, paracentesis, thoracentesis
Additional procedures: I&D, sutures, splinting, EKG, epistaxis control
Board certification required
Hospital privileges required
Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
Assignment details and time entry in online portal
