Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2120 per week.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Required Skills/Experience: Oncology experience required. Full telemetry; must be able to read and interpret telemetry.

Special Requests: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.

Unit Details: Oncology and general med surg patient population; hospice inpatient program is also housed on the unit. Heparin and Cardizem drips; may see other cardiac drips. CPAP or BiPap are managed by RT; nurses perform nebulizer treatments, breathing treatments, and trach suctioning. Central monitoring unit.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend for day shift: Saturday and Sunday. Holiday rotation with permanent staff. No call.

Floating Requirements: First to float. Within the Med Surg/Tele service line; floats in rotation with permanent staff. Primary to St. Joseph Medical Center, but if needed travelers will be required to float throughout Region Two: St. Clare Hospital – Lakewood, WA; St. Elizabeth Hospital – Enumclaw, WA; St. Joseph Medical Center – Tacoma, WA.

Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days
