Logistics Specialists & General Warehouse

The Logistics Specialist role requires strong attention to detail, computer proficiency, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Audit inbound and outbound loads for accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct driver check-in/check-out procedures and provide dock assignments.
• Review and verify Bills of Lading (BOLs) and shipping documentation.
• Maintain accurate transportation, shipment, and warehouse records.
• Create and update Excel spreadsheets to track loads, driver activity, and operational metrics.
• Monitor shipment status, investigate discrepancies, and communicate with drivers, warehouse staff, and management.
• Assist with inventory audits, recordkeeping, and general warehouse support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience required.
• Basic knowledge of shipping, receiving, warehouse, and transportation operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including creating spreadsheets, tables, and data tracking.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to walk, stand, bend, and move throughout warehouse and dock areas.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to work safely around warehouse equipment and loading docks.

Schedule & Pay

• Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, with potential mandatory overtime.
• Starting pay: $17/hour, with increases based on performance and tenure.
