Job Details

This CDL A Driver role in Upper Marlboro, MD pays $28 per hour for local delivery work. You will deliver wholesale electrical supplies on local routes with light-touch freight handling. This TransForce driving opportunity offers a dedicated assignment with a consistent Monday-Friday schedule.

This role includes occasional flatbed operation, but flatbed experience is not required. Training is provided on proper strapping and cargo securement procedures.

Pay & Schedule

  • $28 per hour
  • Monday-Friday schedule
  • Start time: 4:00 AM
  • Local delivery work in Upper Marlboro, MD

What You'll Be Doing

  • Operate a CDL A tractor-trailer on assigned local delivery routes
  • Deliver wholesale electrical supplies to customers
  • Load and unload light-touch freight using a pallet jack
  • Occasionally operate a flatbed truck as needed
  • Strap and secure cargo according to required safety procedures
  • Complete vehicle inspections and delivery paperwork
  • Provide professional customer service during deliveries

What You Need

  • Valid CDL A
  • 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience.
  • Ability to safely handle light-touch freight and operate a pallet jack
  • Willingness to learn flatbed cargo securement procedures
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
  • Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years old
