Position Summary

Entry-level manufacturing role responsible for assembling server systems and rack-level products according to work instructions, quality standards, and production schedules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow procedures, written or verbal instructions, and the established sequence of operations for unpacking, component preparation, component installation, and unit assembly.
  • Perform product assembly operations on components, assemblies, or subassemblies, including integrating computer parts into a chassis on an assembly line.
  • Use small hand tools or power screwdrivers to install brackets, screws, small components, and labels.
  • Install rails according to rack specifications and identify and scan labels for rack specifications.
  • Verify parts and configurations against build documentation.
  • Move materials between production, warehouse, and designated areas, including unpacking and packaging production materials.
  • Maintain accuracy and quality and report material, component, or assembly concerns to the Manufacturing Lead or Supervisor.
  • Perform other assigned duties, including packaging, crating, labeling, and recycling support.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Typically requires less than six months of related manufacturing or assembly experience.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and established work sequences.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, quality, and dependability.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous server, electronics, or rack-assembly experience.
  • Experience using basic hand tools or power screwdrivers.

Work Environment and Physical Expectations

  • Standing may be continuous; manual dexterity is continuous.
  • Ability to perform material handling and production tasks within the requirements of the assigned work area.
