Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2040 per week.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 10 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is required within the last 6 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: At least 1 year of inpatient med/surg experience.

Special Requests: In the first 8 weeks there cannot be more than 3 days of RTO requested. After those 8 weeks they are flexible. No travel pairs will be considered.

Unit Details: Med/Surg patient population. Telemetry is monitored in a centralized unit. Adult and geriatric patient population. All travelers must be prepared to care for COVID patients if assigned.

Shift & Scheduling: Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week. All BSA contracts are 48 hours per week, although not guaranteed.

Floating Requirements: Floats to units of equal or lesser acuity.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years
