About the Position

The Assistant Principal is a vital and visible leader in the school community. You will assist the Principal in ensuring that our high instructional standards are maintained, and also play an important role in supporting the overall operation of the school. This includes curriculum implementation, staff training and development, student enrollment, parent and community relations, staff supervision,classroom support and facility management.

About You

We are looking for someone who is an experienced and certified educator, naturally positive, a good communicator, and passionate about learning and child development. You must be:

• At least 18 years of age

• Minimum high school diploma

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred

• Montessori Certification preferred

• Must successfully clear criminal background check

• Previous teaching experience and comfortable supporting in the classroom as needed

• Proficiency with licensing requirements

• Compliance with all state education and licensing standards and maintains validation of credentials for the position
