Job Description

At U.S. Bank, we're on a journey to do our best.

We believe every person has unique potential, and we invest in helping our employees grow their careers while making a meaningful impact. If you're a naturally curious problem solver who enjoys improving processes, working with data, and partnering across business and technology teams, this could be the opportunity for you.

About the Team

You'll join a team that supports key operational functions for U.S. Bank's Wealth Management broker-dealer business. The team plays an important role in ensuring clients and advisors receive exceptional service throughout the account lifecycle, from onboarding through ongoing account maintenance and life-event servicing. The group partners closely with operations teams, technology teams, and external vendors to support business initiatives, process improvements, and operational excellence.

What You'll Do

This is a business-facing analyst role that blends operations, business analysis, reporting, testing, and project support. Unlike more production-focused operational roles, this position concentrates on driving initiatives, improving processes, and supporting business change efforts.

In this role, you will:

  • Partner with business leaders, technology teams, and vendors to support strategic initiatives

  • Coordinate and execute business-side testing for system enhancements and vendor solutions

  • Develop, maintain, and analyze reports, metrics, and operational data

  • Support process improvement efforts that increase efficiency and reduce risk

  • Track projects, enhancements, and testing activities using Jira

  • Identify workflow improvements and recommend solutions

  • Assist with requirements gathering, documentation, and analysis of business needs

  • Support implementation of new processes and operational changes

  • Create and maintain test plans, track issues, and report testing results

  • Act as a liaison between business and technology partners

  • Manage multiple priorities and initiatives in a dynamic environment

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

- Typically, four or more years of related experience

Preferred Qualifications

- Business analysis experience

- Experience supporting testing, quality assurance, or user acceptance testing efforts

- Process improvement or operational excellence experience

- Experience managing or supporting projects and business initiatives

- Jira experience

- SQL knowledge and reporting experience

- Experience with Tableau or similar reporting and visualization tools

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

- Excellent organizational and time-management skills

- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products

- Experience working with both business and technology partners
