Trusted is seeking an experienced nurse for this exciting travel nursing assignment. Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience.

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• BSN completion preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Qualivis Program - University of Virginia and no current placement allowed at Program: Qualivis Program - University of Virginia.

Additional Details:

Required Credentials: - Any hit on your license must be disclosed. Hits will be sent to UVA leadership for approval prior to proceeding.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Level 1 Trauma experience preferred. - Experience in more than one area preferred, as they will be floating to all areas.

Special Requests: - Travelers are not eligible to return after reaching 365 total assignment days, regardless of time away. - No RTO can be approved the first 2 weeks of assignment.

Unit Details: - Adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population. - Patient ratios vary by shift: days/weekends 1:1.5, nights 1:2.

Shift & Scheduling: - Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week. - Every other weekend. - Every other holiday. - Must work 2 out of 3 winter holidays. Traveler will work Thanksgiving, Black Friday, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day. - Can approve 40 hours for time off.

Floating Requirements: - Float pool assignment includes Medical ICU, Thoracic Cardiovascular ICU, Coronary Care Unit, Surgical Trauma ICU (Level 1), Neuro & Neurosurgery ICU, Critical Care and Intermediate Care Special Pathogens Unit (COVID), Thoracic Cardiovascular Intermediate Unit, Surgical Trauma Intermediate Unit, Neuro & Neurosurgery Intermediate Unit, and ED boarders (admitted to hospital but boarding in ED prior to room assignment).

3 days maximum time off. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

2 Charge/Lead references required
