What You'll Do as a Tire Technician:
* Understand and show empathy towards customer's tire issues.
* Mount/dismount, install new or used tires.
* Inspect and assess tire tread levels, wear patterns, valve quality and overall health of the tire.
* Check air pressure, repair punctures and replace faulty valves.
* Complete tire rotations; reset TPMS when needed.
* Complete brake inspections.
* Complete work orders and related paperwork.
* Load/unload and store equipment as needed.
* Maintain, set up tire racks, organize, and clean shop and equipment.
* Assist customers and other co-workers as needed.
* Additional duties as assigned by supervisor
What We're Looking For:
* Must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.
* 18 years of age
* Ability to consistently follow store policies and procedures.
* Ability to read and complete instructions.
* Position requires continuous standing, bending, lifting and ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
* The ability to work in a fast-paced customer service-oriented environment.
* Team-Player: Works well as a member of a group.
* Detail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well.
