Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Response in Winston Salem, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Officer in a healthcare setting, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for staff, visitors, and patients. Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, donors, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including entrances, parking areas, exterior perimeter, and designated interior areas.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and promptly communicate observations, hazards, and policy concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
