BH Autism Clinical Supervisor- Outpatient Psychotherapy Prog

 

Supervision credential, preferred.

 

 

Coordinates and implements clinical services for patients with autism and other developmental disabilities, ensuring quality and appropriate care. Assists with the supervision and training of clinicians, behavior analyst candidates, and other clinic staff.

 

 

Essential Functions:

• Assists with the supervision of clinic staff and with case assignments and coverage, assessing and ensuring productivity and compliance with quality parameters.
• Supervises and mentors senior clinicians and behavioral analysts, providing support with certifications and high need clinical care.
• Provides clinical care to patients on assigned caseload, recommending treatments and coordinating with parents, schools, and other service providers.
• Provides training and education to patients, families, school personnel, and other community members. Assists with development and implementation of training for clinic staff.
• Participates in the implementation of quality and operational improvement projects for the department.

Education Requirement:

Master’s Degree in psychology, behavior analysis, social work, clinical counseling, or other related field, required.

Licensure Requirement:

• Appropriate Independent Ohio licensure or certification, required.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license and proof of auto insurance as required by hospital policy and position-specific requirements. Must pass motor vehicle background inspection, insurance eligibility, driving qualifications, and training set forth by Nationwide Children’s Hospital and maintain qualification of insurance guidelines.

Certifications:

Certification in Marcus Crisis Prevention Program safety training and other safety protocols within 60 days of employment, required.

Experience:

• Four years of experience as a senior clinician or similar position, required.
• Experience providing and managing behavioral health services for children and families, required.

FREQUENTLY: Driving motor vehicles (work required) *additional testing may be required, Lifting / Carrying: 0-10 lbs, Lifting / Carrying: 11-20 lbs, Lifting / Carrying: 21-40 lbs, Pushing / Pulling: 0-25 lbs, Pushing / Pulling: 26-40 lbs, Pushing / Pulling: 41-60 lbs

CONTINUOUSLY: Audible speech, Computer skills, Decision Making, Depth perception, Hand use: grasping, gripping, turning, Hearing acuity, Interpreting Data, Peripheral vision, Problem solving, Repetitive hand/arm use, Seeing – Far/near, Sitting

Additional Physical Requirements performed but not listed above:

Implementing MCPP and safety protocol strategies.
