Job Details

This local CDL A Driver role is based in Houston, Texas, and pays $27.50 per hour. You will run local routes hauling general merchandise in a dry van with light-touch handling. This is a TransForce driving opportunity with steady work, reliable scheduling, and support from a driver-focused team.

This role requires a TWIC card and Hazmat endorsement. Drivers without a TWIC card must be willing to obtain one.

Pay & Schedule

  • $27.50 per hour
  • Local work based in Houston, Texas
  • Must be available for work 6 days per week
  • Monday through Friday plus either Saturday or Sunday

What You'll Be Doing

  • Operate CDL A equipment on local routes, including 12 to 13 hour trips.
  • Transport general merchandise in a dry van with light-touch handling.
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections, logs, and required paperwork.
  • Follow DOT safety standards and communicate with dispatch and operations.

What You Need

  • Valid CDL A
  • 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience.
  • TWIC card or willingness to obtain one
  • Hazmat endorsement
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
  • Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years old
