Seeking Childbirth Educator!

Baptist Health Floyd, Women’s Health Services

Part-time (24 Hours Weekly), 2nd Shift

Benefit Eligible

Job Duties:

The Childbirth Educator will teach childbirth education classes as directed. The position will also assist in the development and evaluation of childbirth education

programs. They will serve as a childbirth education resource to the community.

About the Units:

Women's Health Services is conveniently located on the same floor as the Labor and Delivery unit and is a 19-bed unit utilizing a couplet care model following the AWHONN staffing guidelines. The unit also cares for female post-operative patients who have recently undergone gynecological or bariatric procedures.  

Qualifications:

Graduate of accredited BSN program.

Current IN or compact state RN license required.

Minimum of one (1) year experience as an RN on Mother/Baby or Labor Unit required.

Minimum of one (1) year of teaching experience required.
