Physical Therapy Assistant

Mercy is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to support therapists in delivering high-quality rehabilitative care during daytime, full-time shifts. In this role, you will assist in implementing individualized treatment plans, guide patients through therapeutic exercises and mobility training, and carefully document progress in the EMR. You will help prepare treatment areas and equipment, support safe patient transfers, and educate patients and families on home exercises and safety. Working within Mercy’s collaborative, compassionate culture, you’ll partner with an interdisciplinary team to improve function, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life for patients across diverse clinical needs.
