Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 18 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is required within the last 2 years.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a New Hampshire license or compact license (required after submission).

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Prolucent Health Program - Dartmouth Hitchcock and no current placement allowed at Program: Prolucent Health Program - Dartmouth Hitchcock.

Additional Details:

RNs Only: Recent experience at a level 1 trauma center is required.

You can only have 1 active application for the same position (same unit & shift at the same facility). Example: if you applied for day shift, you can apply for night shift on the same unit & facility, but you cannot apply for day shift at the same unit & facility.

Required skills/experience:

• Chest tubes

• Tubes

• Drips such as Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, or amiodarone

• Lines/Tubes/drains for post-surgical patients

• Trachs/Laryngectomies

• Telemetry

• Complex wounds

• Central Lines – care and maintenance and blood draws

Shift & schedule requirements: D/N Rotation, Days, or Nights

Unit and facility details: 21 Bed Med-Surg Neuro. Medical (Neuromuscular disorders, Meningitis), Primary Stroke Center, TBI, Spinal Cord Injury, Surgical (Tumor resections (brain and spine), Spinal surgery, Head and neck cancer), Level IV Epilepsy center (implanted electrodes and scalp leads). Only Epilepsy Center in Vermont and New Hampshire.

7 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required
