Key Responsibilities:
Grounds & Facility Maintenance
- Exterior Upkeep: Manage the general image, appearance, and maintenance of all plant grounds, parking lots, boulevards, and landscaping
- Site Services: Oversee seasonal maintenance tasks, including snow removal, salting of walkways and lots, sweeping, and waste management
- Building Infrastructure: Coordinate the upkeep of physical structures, loading docks, and roofing
- Utility Support: Supervise routine maintenance and repairs for building utilities, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
Safety, Security & Compliance
- Code Enforcement: Inspect buildings and grounds to ensure full compliance with OSHA regulations, local zoning laws, fire safety, and ADA accessibility codes
- Emergency Preparedness: Manage security/fire safety systems
- Risk Management: Assess risks of key exterior/interior systems and proactively address gaps to prevent workplace injuries
Vendor Leadership
- Contractor Oversight: Negotiate and manage service contracts with external vendors for specialized repairs, waste disposal, and heavy landscaping
Qualifications & Experience:
Required
- High School Diploma / GED / Homeschool Certification OR international equivalent
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in facilities maintenance
Preferred
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in facilities maintenance, preferably within a large industrial or manufacturing environment
- Certifications in Facilities Management (such as IFMA's CFM) or safety credentials (e.g., OSHA-30) are highly desired
- Strong mechanical aptitude with foundational knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
Working Conditions:
- Ability to navigate large manufacturing sites, lift up to 50lbs, and work in varying weather conditions for grounds inspections

Compensation:
The hourly rate of $28.00 - $33.00 is tied to the market for similarly benchmarked roles.
